Hey all. I am setting up to get to school for my 1A and was wondering if anyone here knew what the best/worst schools in the Saskatoon area would be? Why are they the worst or best? I am scheduled to go to maximum training but might cancel that after reading a few errant comments on the web about em...not sure.
Any help?
Cheers

Reason: title change
I went to Class 1A, I too heard many bad things about Maximum so I went to another. There is also Trans Indutrial Training I hear they are better then Class 1A but I had a good expierence with Class 1A and would recomend them to anyone.
As far as Maximium there are a few turns 25th street to Idywyld where they teach how to do the corner wrong, but then thats what Class 1A told me.
But no matter who you go to try to get your test done through SGI and not with a teacher. The SGI testers are much more easier and let small stuff go.
Thing is that I haven't actually heard anything truly bad about em...just that other people have heard bad things. I don't even know where to go to ask people who have gone through the school what they thing about it. Kinda lost on this one.
I heard that class1a was basically the same, just a touch more expensive but again...that's just what I heard out of left field at some random point in time so I don't know what to think.
Cheers

Hi and welcome, how about joining this chapter? Also what is your location in Sask?
Hey there Fomoko,
I'm in Saskatoon and to be honest, I'm not a FORD enthusiast...though I do like FORD trucks. I boot around in a little four door sedan...I know it's sad. I really just wanted to ask the question I asked and look around the forum to se if I saw anything else interesting.
That being said, there are a bunch of things here that have piqued my curiosity so I'll stick around but as for joining this chapter...I would be driftwood. Dead weight. Sorry.
you don't have to be smart to join this chapter if you need proof just look at 96sherm. ssorry Sherm but that is just funny. I think (or hope atleast) you can take a joke lol
and as for the 4 door sedan thing, We have a active member 51 dueller who drives a mid 90's Mystic.
Hey, join up any ways.
I do see a Ford truck in your future and if not it doesn`t matter, as long as you like Fords it`s all good to us!
What make of car do you drive?
I might already be lined up with a job (I hope) with a good international carrier (about 20 tractors in its fleet) that runs out of the praries due to a good friend of mine giving me the lead. Does mostly drop and hook so it would be ideal. Knowing my luck, I'll end up driving a gravel truck for a year or something though. rrg.
I dunno...why would I join up with this chapter. I don't even really know what it' all about. Just saw some negative commentary about maximum so I thought there might be some untapped wisdom in here.
My roomate has a Saturn a 07 I think. Not sure if his a 4 door he has 4 doors but the rear 2 are like a ext. cab truck and open opposite like sucide doors.
