Rod Bolts

I'm looking for a good set of rod bolts for my 400. I'm thinking about the ARP Wave loc. Also, how do I get the old bolts out?? Just beat them???

I used those bolts and they haven't come loose yet! heh heh. I would take the rods to a shop and have them reconditioned and let them put the bolts in.

According to their catalog ARP doesn't make the Wave Loc for the M series. They do make Hi Performance bolts for them but not the Wave Locs. As far as getting them out I'd have the machine shop change them when they recondition/resize the rods.

Yeah mine are the "standard" hi strength. Pay carefull attention to the torque values. Only about 55# as I recall.
