Should I hook up EGR?
Hi all. The EGR has been disconnected on my 78 Bronco 351M. It seems to run OK without it, and there is no emmisions check in my area. Will engine run better if it is re-connected? Thanks.

The EGR does nothing to add performance to your vehicle so I wouldn't hook it up unless you have to do it legally. One minor issue is that if you did have it hooked up you might be able to advance the timing a little more without pinging which should give you more performance but I think it'd be negligible especially on a stock motor.
