I am replacing the needle bearings in both side in the frontend of my 2000 ford f-250 superduty. 4x4. I have the bearings orderd part#b2110 and the outer hub seals.
I need the axle seals part #'s also. anyone have any idea.?????? NAPA did not have them in their book. And you folks, being so talented, I know someone can find them for me. I cannot remember who got the the baearing num, bers but they were right on the money. A big thanks to that individual. I have WARN manual lockers on mine. Besides the axle seals, hub seals and bearings, is there anything else I should replace? wheelbearings and balljoints are perfect!
Here are two part numbers for you. Not sure which you already have (different terms for different people), but you'll use both.
2-F81Z 3254CB Hub seals
2-F81Z 1S175HCA Axle seals
I ended up getting mine from the dealership since I needed them the same day. Otherwise try powerstrokeshop.com.
If your wheelbearing and balljoints are in good shape, I think you've got the bases covered. I went through the hassle of replacing the outer axle seals only to have ball joints go out about a year later and had to do it all over again.

i have a 2003 super duty and need to do the same. will these part numbers work for me? i beleave i have a dana 60 according to the numbers on the diff wich are 248.
Yes, they are the same seals. Knuckles are the same on the superduty, whether it's a Dana 50 or Dana 60 axle under the front end. The newer seals have a metal ring near the outside edge that adds some strength to the seal, but they work just fine on the older trucks. I've put in two sets like that with no problems. It's the same size seal, just updated.

again, thanks. Are these numbers a ford dealer number?????????
What did you use to install the hub seals on the stub axle? I am looking to make something when I do my ball joints in the near future. I read some get the dealer to install them, as they have a special driver for them. Would like to make my own tool for that.
Long story short...I took it to the dealer to have them installed after troubles with the homemade tool.
Expansion on that story...made the tool out of some galvanized pipe, a cap for one end, and a flange on the other end. Don't remember the exact size, and it was close to the size of the seal, but not perfect. The axle seal was a really tight fit on one of the sides and stubborn to go on. The "tool" I made ended up getting pretty torn up, but the worst of it was I destroyed two brand new $30 seals trying to use my homemade driver to install them. So my attempt to save some money by not going to the dealer ended up costing me about $70. Once I finally went to the dealer with axle shafts in hand, the guy in the tool room was super cool and ended up letting me use their tool right there at no charge. With their perfectly sized seal driver, made of heavy tool steel, those seals went on smooth and straight with no damage. I should have just checked there first before I assumed the dealer wouldn't do it or would only do it for an exorbitant labor charge.
