carpet retainer
I have looked high and low, through several catalogs and I cannot find the carpet retaining ring for the transfer case shift lever (oblong shape). Would anyone know where I could find one? The local pick-and-pulls dont even have them...

I found an old country yard today and walked the whole thing. He has something like 3,000 cars (about 10 miles from my house and had no idea that it was this big) and probably about 15-20 of these trucks, many of them 4X4. I'm going there tommorrow or next weekend and will be happy to look for you. I'm almost possitive I can find one for you.

I actually asked the same question a couple weeks ago because I had the same problem. I was lucky enough to have a fellow FTE member send me one. 
I'm not sure why these aren't available and the shifter ones (round) still are.
