Pwr Steering ???

I have a 1999 F53 motorhome 20,500lb chassis with a V10. This chassis should be similar to a F550. It has a german pwr steering pump on it a ZF. How can I find out how much pressure and flow this pump produces? I'm interested in powering a hydraulic winch with it similar to the milemarker winches.

If it is anything like the Super Duty PS pumps, I wouldn't do it. The pumps are hardly adequate for steering. Throw the hydroboost assisted brakes on, it doesn't take long before you start having pump failures.

Install a plow pump on your motor somewhere for your winch. Or install an electric over hydraulic power pack on your vehicle. They use these on dump setups and it will run your winch.
