disc brake problem

I just put the ccp disc brake conversion on my 64 f100. The conversion went on really well. the only problem is when everything is hooked up on wheel point straight and the other points in some. i adjusted the tie rod bar between the wheels and i got it straight. my only question is the lower spindle bolt towards the front of the truck. When you bolt the arm to it there is like a 1/2' gap between the arm and the spindle. If you tighten this up it throws the steering all off. JUst wondering if anyone else had trouble like this. thanks chris.

Hmmm you bolt the lower forward spindle arm on and it throws the steering out of whack? Take a look at the tech article in the brake section to see if you notice anything off with your build. I tried to take a lot of pics to reduce putting things on wrong. You might have missed a spacer or installed the disc caliper mount wrong. Just a thought.

I installed this same kit on my '64 a month ago, and am pretty sure you should not have had to adjust your tie rod at all...just put it back on.
