efi vs. carb

Ok this is my dilema. I have a 5.8 (351w) out of a 92' f-150 with the the fuel injectors, harness and lower and upper plenum. The 351 is a roller block. i have gt-40x swirl heads and am stuck on what to do for the intake. I am a 5.0 ho guy and this is my first 351. its going into a 89' ford fox-body, but have no idea what the performance of the fac intake is of the 351. So my question is will the fact intake be good in performance because the runners are pretty big or will a eldlebroc 4 barrel be better? The other issue is i just moved to phoenix az and dont know how the emmissions are down here if anyone knows?

You will have to smog living in Phoenix. With that in mind EFI would be the best IMHO. because with EFI smog will be much easier to pass because with EFI they run a very precise air/fuel mixture, & tend to run much leaner because of that mixture. As for performance there is a lot of ways to go with EFI. I feel more options.

I would use a Lightning (93-95) GT-40 intake if it was me.

I have a very simular issue.

Have a OBDII 351w that I am trying to retain the OBDII attributes. but put the motor in a 49 pickup. do I hunt down an OBDII harness, ECU and wiring schematics and go to town or is there some kind of engine managment that can be used.
