i couldnt see spending $300 on one of those back racks that dont have good coverage or $500+ on a really nice aftermarket one so i made my own. im going to start on the front and rear heavy duty bumpers this weekend and blast and paint it all at the same time! what do you all think? im going to put a pair of 5'' rpund lights in the squares on the upper corners
thats pretty bitchin man, i like it. what kind of bumpers are you going to make? can't wait to see pics of those. I have been wanting to do tubular bumpers for mine, make them air tight and throw in an air fitting so i can inflate tires after offroading or maybe even an emergency air tool if needed.
Why did you leave the open areas in the top corners? Usually you see the cross members run all the way across?
I don't know what kind of bumpers you're building, but I've got ranch hand front & rear. If you need any pictures with a tape measure in front of them let me know.
F350, he said he was putting round light in the upper corners.
I think it looks good, my only question is why is it so tall over the cab, when you lean metal or wood against it the items are going to be way up in the air and even higher if you have a short box.
yea i did make it a little tall but i do stack pallets in my truck up that high and now i can stack pallets on top of my tool box. thanks for the compliments
