Question Slick60's.org

Anyone else had trouble registering at the slick60s.org website? I have tried 3 times and never received the confirmation email. Is there an issue with the site or do they just select certain members? Thanks.

I registered so long ago that I don't even remember what kind of registration procedures they might've had.

I THINK that you have to wait for someone to confirm your account before you can start posting, though. I could be wrong though.

Slick60's.org and this forum are really the only two decent alive 61-66 F100 sites on the web.

They have been known to have technical and hosting issues in the past but still a good site. Of course its not FTE but still a good source of info on our trucks.

Yeah, it looks like a pretty good site although a lot of it is just a mirror of this site. Same people asking the same questions.

I think there is a couple canadians running the show over there, you just can't expect but so much. The lights are on but nobody is at home.

No one really runs it, its like the Borg, a collective....The admin is from Iowa....And the webmaster is from the show me state.

All members go through the admin, and have to be approved, there is so many requests that are spammers it may have slipped through the cracks as there is no filter like here to prohibit certian previliages and e mail and Pm' ing.... There is no one just sitting at the puter doing this... They actually have to work for a living and its free so it may take time....

And it is the reason slicks are slicks....

O K Dave, I will retract part of my statement, but I think you backed up part as well. The lights are on but no one is at home, and that's like having a couple canadians in charge.

I don't buy the they have to work for a living, they have dropped the ball over there. IMHO

What's up with the Canadian slamming? You wind up sounding like a hick.

Slick60's is a good strong running site; I too agree FTE is more popular & techincial sound...
