When I bought my 1996 f350 351W 5 speed, the rear view mirror was in the glove box. I bought super glue, cleaned both contact points and held it in place for about 30 seconds. Three weeks later while adjusting mirror it pops off#$%^#$........... What am I doing wrong?.
If it's behind you, you already passed it, and don't really need to see it again!
Biggest thing is clean surfaces, cobra.. almost any quality cyanacrolyte glue will work, but the easiest/fastest/best way is the rear view adhesive with the primer.
