I have an oil leak coming from the area of my turbo. The fuel lines seem to be fine. I pulled the turbo supply tube so I could inspect the fuel lines, which were old and cracked, but dry. While the engine is at idle I can see oil streaming down at a fast pace. Any ideas on what the cause? This is a 1997 7.3. Thanks for any input.
I have the same truck, 97 F-350 PSD, i just had this same problem. I found that my leak was located on the back side of the block right at the top on the back of the heads. There are 2 plugs there on each side, on is big and the other is small, it is only a $12.00 plug and if it is leaking on the drivers side it is easily accessable, but to do the passenger side you have to remove the turbine outlet pipe. hope this is helpful.
p.s. the big plug has a 1/2 in. drive slot in it so you can just use a 1/2 in ratchet
sounds like high pressure oil rail end plugs leaking.
ford P/N 4C3Z-6026-CA
comes in a pack of 4 for a good reason if one is leaking the others will soon leak also.
the original had black ruber seals that didn't last, theese new ones have blue seals that seem to last longer.
