I have seen in this neck of the woods, two F150's with 33 inch tires on them with no lift kit. I wanted to see if the tires had plently of clearance and came to notice that the tires rub on the radius arms. Is there a radius arm with a more inward shape that can be put on these trucks to allow for maximum turning without resorting to a lift kid. I'd like bigger tires, 33's that is, but really don't want to get my center of gravity up too high. Any thoughts, comments? Thanks.
Even with the "Dick Cephus" bent/extended raduos arms ..........One tire will rub the frame in front of the tire.
About the only way to avoid a frame rub seems to lift the frame above the tires all tougether .
The frame rub is not that bad, and you learn to aviod it when turning .
Having a rough tread design magnifise the rub a lot becase it claws the frame noty rubs them, but the smoother tread designs like the AT's are not that bad.
This is just my experiance with bigger tires though
