Transmission noise

I have a 1999 F250 with auto 4R100 and 2WD... 68,000 Lately I have started a little wine that is coming from the trans when starting to slow down. The wine is speed related and stops as the truck comes to a stop. Its not very loud at all but have never really noticed it before... Was just wondering if this is a sign of future problems...

PS I just had the rear end done about two months ago... with bad carrier bearings....

Have you checked the obvious, like checking the fluid? With your rear end done recently I would probably check the rear end fluid too.

Yes, trans fluid is clean and right up... I had it flushed about 8000 miles ago. and about 15,000 before that...... When they did the diff they used a synthetic and there is no evidence that is leaking... But I will pull the plug and stick my finger in there to check the level...
