Did my straight pipe=No code??? :D

Well, despite my firends assertions on Friday, I did my straight pipe today. I have yet to see a code or a drop in performance
Wow!!! My truck sounds like one of those mean diesels with a 4" or 5" set up. Mean sound, and man does that turbo whistle now. I found myself riding by buildings and Jersey walls and rolling down the windows to listen to it. I went to the barn where my wife keeps her horses becuase the vet was out for shots and there was a pretty big group of people out there. One has an '07 6.0 Harley Davidson Edition and when I fired it up to leave, man did I get some stares!!! I love it!! More permagrin....PMS is sick.

No Scott I am not running the WW. My dads "new" truck is an early 99 with the original wheel and no foil of course. That thing really whistles.

Kris, it does sound cool. I still consider him a friend. I just ain't gonna pay him to work on my truck anymore. I found a new guy that did some good work today. He's not totally a diesel guy, but he takes direction well.

Tracy and Nick, I am sure that I am going to see a definite drop in mileage. It sounds great. Very angry sound.

Nah, I probably won't talk to him for a few weeks. We coach soccer together and indoor season is over and outdoor doesn't start until April. I will just let the sound speak for itself and see if he even notices.

when i leave for work in the mornin ''pretty cold'' i put my window down when driveing in my neiborhood with ''auto tranny'' shifted to one and drive about a quarter mile like that.. about 10 mph till the stoplight at a busy road... i did the delete to my 4'' about 2 weeks ago and am in love... my girlfriend hates it because i always roll down her window..... unfortunately i dont have a window lock cuz its a supercab.....i love the sound the most when your not romping on it and just cruisin slow at a steady pace.... makes me feel like im driveing a bigrig... deffenetly sounds way better than a 6.0 straight piped to me... to me thats just way to much wistle to me! its funny all my buddies with 6.0 ''thats 4 guys'' act like they hate the 7.3 but i think deep down inside there jelouse

I work second shift so no one is around when I leave for work. I try to be somewhat quit when I get home. The people at work always ask me question, like whats wrong with your truck or is it supost to sound like that it sounds like a jet. Its funny when people stair as they fly out the gate and not let there vehicals warm up any.

its is funny that you say something about all the people at work that just fly 0-60 straight out of the gate as fast as they can. They are all passing my slow butt while im working my way up to speed so my truck doesnt hate me
