It happens and probably will continue to happen, although it is offered for limited times only so you need to watch for it. I just bought 5 new trucks in the last 2 months, 2 of them (F450 and a Ranger) I got in during the 0% so $ wise that was great but not business wise as we have no interest to write off on those 2 vehicles. The other 3 I got in at 1.9%, 3.9% and a 5.9% so this will help out with the write offs. Basically you need to get in with a sales manager and ask for a call when the 0% comes back, sometimes but not often there is 3-$5000 rebates offered WITH the 0%, other times in lieu of.
That I leave for my accountant to do, he's always telling me we are making too much money and not enough write off so what I try to do is get the rebates and not worry about the finance rates too much.
Interest on auto loans is not deductable any longer for an individual filing a tax return.
Not sure if a business can still deduct interest on auto loans.
Think I could get 10k off the sticker of a ordered regular cab? And where do I go to price out under x-plan.
The problem with ordering a truck (This is how I buy mine) is the dealer can only give you whatever rebates or finance specials that are available when you sign the paperwork. If you order a truck and it takes 6 weeks for delivery, the rebates may have changed. Your dealer can lock in the deal once he has a VIN. You can sign the paperwork at that point and the truck is technically yours even though you may not see it for another couple of weeks.
What kind of regular cab are you looking for? I see several on the lots down here in Texas.
