If the CPS goes...it won't run at all. It may give you a little trouble before it goes but it can and will just die...not running bad...just DOA.
Let us know if changing the CPS works!
I respectfully disagree, if the CPS goes the truck MIGHT be DOA. My first would only die when decellerating. My second would die randomly, but would ALWAYS restart (That is till I chaged either of them. I didn't give them a chance to leave me stranded) With that being said, my uncles was dead in the water
My truck will randomly die when you hit the brake. This seems to only be when you are taking it out of park though. That and it has only did it about three times (before the CPS recall...now I have a new one and only once...hmm)
Racer*2 here,
Dude, Pop your distributor cap, see if your rotor is turning when cranked. Could be coil, timing belt, or any of a hundred things. First, see if your rotor is turning.
I'll check back.
Huh? This is as far as I've gotten so far in this thread, so there is no telling what else I may find here.
