HELP needed ASAP. I have my truck at the dealer and he is installing the rear B leaf springs with tapered 3.5" block on my 4x4 7.3l TD, however, the right rear leaf spring, the bottom one to be exact (load bearing?) is hitting my 4" MBRP exhaust (no tip)! Is it possible to cut about 2 inches off that spring???? Should the rear exhaust be taken off, then install leaf spring, then reinstall exhaust, and will that make it all fit? Any other suggestions or experinces? Is there a front and back to these as it appears that if we reverse it, it may fit as the bottom leaf spring is shorter on the other side.
TIA
It almost appears that once the load is on the axel, it might clear. However, without the load, all of the springs, except the one mentioned, is sitting above the exhaust.
The stock exhaust almost comes out at a 90 degree or right angle. The MBRP comes out almost diagonal.
Does anyone know if Snowman269 is still on the board? He appears to have this exact set up and I am hoping he can shed some light. I tried to PM him, however, it did not recognize his username. Perhaps he changed it?
Is it possible that two different leafsprings can have the same part number?
In other words, did the B code, part number 3C3Z-5560-CB have the option of coming with or without an overload/auxilliary spring?
