Will this work alright on a 97 or what do you guys recommend?

Nope, its a late 99. You need an early 99 for the OBS.

unfortunatly no it will not work, you need the early build spyder. it is available from ford again, if noone has the number and list price i will get it tomarrow

from that picture it will look pretty close to that, you just dont need thewastegate solonoid and the map line needs to be cut off and plugged, the clearance between the spyder and the fuel filter housing is paper thin.

and this is probably the best picture i have of the intake

Check out my gallery. I have some pictures of my intercooler set-up I believe. At first the clearance worried me, but I haven't had any problems yet.
