I know this question is asked all of the time and everybody says go with SCT or DP tuner thats great, but what if there are tunes coming out for the Evalution how would things go then. Need input for purchase soon.

The Edge new Evolutions are update able and they should have hot tunes available. How ever even the hot tunes are somewhat canned, SCT and Sniper will allow more fine tuning. So it's really a half dozen of one and six of the other if you aren't willing to spend a lot of time tweaking a program.

 

I mainly need tunes for towing and better MPG.

 

Either will serve you well, especially for your intended use. We sell a bunch of both, though we tend to recommend SCT for Ford vehicles. Here's a link to our Electronic Performance section:

I just picked up an evolution from DP Tuner for $350 + S/H. Just want to say thanks for all the threads for helping me pick which one to get. I'm mainly using it for the tranny tune on my 02 F250 S/D.
