I have a 89 f150 custom regular cab regular box. Its got air tilt and cruise. I bought the truck about ten years ago, and have been through thick and thin with it.
I bought a far recently and there is increasing need to have another 4x4 (besides my PSD) out here.
I dont really wanna get rid of my 89, but it needs quite abit of work to be brought back to good condition, and I would hate to see it just sit around here and rot away.
I dont mind having a few extra vehicles either, but I have a 91 reg cab shortbox im going to turn into a daily driver and really have no need for the 89!
I just wouldnt mind some honest opinions what you guys would do, being in a similar situation.
I dont know prep thats hard to say if its just rotting away myswell get rid of it and someone will buy it and drive it im sure as a work truck i hate getting rid of things cause i regret it so good luck bud
I like having an extra vehicle around (especially a 4x4) so if I need it for some unexpected reason, I can hop into it and go. I drive both my truck and my bronco often, although the Bronco looks a bit prettier.
If the extra insurance and registration costs aren't a problem, keep it and drive it once a month or so. That way it won't rot away.
I am attached to my truck as well. I have thought about selling it, but I think I'd rather keep it for myself. If I ever get another truck though, something will have to give.
Yeah i agree with ya andy, where the problem lies is my truck right now is a 2 wheel drive, and I need another 4x4, besides the truck i regularily drive!
So Im running into the whole I would have two extra trucks kicking around, instead of just one extra one.
