I have a 72 351C 2V heads.
will the intake on 351M or any other work.
2V heads have new valves port & polish, block bored 30, flat top pistons
HV oil pump, Erson RV15 cam, but has no intake.
No - the 351M (and 400) have a raised block which makes the intake too wide to fit the 351C. You also should not use an intake meant for a 351C 4v though it would fit. For street use, particularly with an automatic transmission, I suggest the dual-plane low-rise Edelbrock Performer model #2750. If you have a manual transmission and/or you will use it for racing, you would want a single-plane high-rise. I strongly suggest that you ensure that the gaskets you use have the cutout for the two heat riser ports. This will improve driveability and avoid several problems. Note that Edelbrock suggests Felpro gaskets which do not have these ports cut out - but an exacto knife fixes that! The factory type valley pan intake gaskets typically have the cutout (between the two center ports on each side). Good luck!
351m manifold won't fit 351c or 351w. only fit 351m and 400m. i have a 400m and are looking for any type of manifold as from factory they supply 2 bbl maniflods only.
email me stephen_marr351(No Email Addresses In Posts!).au if you want to sell. price and address would be nice.

Stephen - yesterday I saw that someone had posted an Edelbrock Streetmaster for the 351M/400 on Ebay. I owned one of these 25 years ago and they are a nice medium rise single plane intake. I believe Edelbrock sells (or at least used to) the Torker for the 400. They still have the Performer - a low rise dual plane.
