I own a 1990 e350 van...does anyone know if i can buy a "engine swap kit"? it currently has an inline 6, i would like to install a windsor. anyone have any ideas to get me headed in the right direction?
Not sure if you could buy a kit, I doubt it though. It's pretty tough to buy anything for these vans.
Unless you are really attached to the van or the body is super nice, you are probably better off selling it and finding one with the 302 or 351 already. Around here, you can pick one up for under $1000. I've seen them as low as $600.
If you are really attached to the van, I would still suggest going with a donor van, then you can take what you need... engine mounts, tranny cross member, ? as you are doing the swap.
