I'm recently new to the forums.Having a little trouble with my truck this morning>First off i paid $800 for this truck 2 years ago and to today have never so much as turned a wrench on it.It is a 91 f-150 lariat,5.0 v-8 and when i went to crank it this morning white smoke started coming out from under the hood and the ground wire on battery was smoking.Well i knowcked it off the battery and it made a loud POP!It burned a hole in my battery right under negative post and smoked the rubber off the ground wire?I'm not a mechanic so what should i do??Replace ground wire i know.But do i need a new battery too??HELP!!!
