I have 5 CD's jammed in my In-Dash 6-Disc CD Player. I am been told you can manually eject the CD's and reset the machine. Can anyone confirm this for me and point me in the direction of some instructions on doing so.
When the CD player is connected and I push the eject button, the screen says CD error and does nothing. I took the player out and was told there was a button on the side that will eject all the cd's in the machine and I can't seem to get it to work.

It references to a DVD player at first, but I was told the diagnostic procedures at the bottom will also still work for a multi-disc player.
On Edit: If you haven't already- maybe trying a (hard) power cycle to the headunit.

i have an 03 ranger that had the 6 cd changer in it. it also jammed and could not get the cd's out. i talked to the local ford garage and they told me they could order a reconditioned one from the factory, but no way to repair my unit. i tried everything to no avail, i finally stripped the unit to get my cd's out and then bought one from our local salvage yard, and yup you guessed it, that one lasted about a month then the same thing happened to it also. have since put an 80.00 unit in from walmart and no troubles. single player is not as handy as a 6 player, but no troubles either.
