whats that fitting for??
Today I replaced the ball joints on my truck. On the bearing carrier I noticed that there was a fitting with a rubber cap over it. I looked for where this orifice goes to and it looks like it leads to between the bearing hub assy and the axle. My question is what is this for? I would ***-u-me that I need to lube it somehow, but with what? Its not a grease fitting, but I dont really see oil going down there either. Any ideas??
