rear blocks with traction bars?

2006 F350 6.0. Im purchasing a Rize 6" 4 link lift. For the rear im not sure if i want the lift blocks with traction bars or a leaf spring pack. I tow about 6-10 a year nothing real heavy. Whats getting me is that I can get both the lift blocks, traction bars, and the physical appeal of the traciton bars, for a little more than and a set of rear leaf springs. Any advice??

Thanks, DB

IMO...go with the blocks and traction bars. As you said...they look cool...and will not cause any issues with your SD.

If you were not going to purchase the traction bars...and only the blocks...I would advise against it due to axle wrap, but that is eliminated with the bars.

I agree with biz. I wouldn't be too worried about axle wrap with a 4" block anyway, but the traction bars will make it a lot stronger and look way cooler too.

If you want the bars you can go with the blocks....keep your stock springs and load capacity that way too.

So if I go with blocks and traction bars I wont have any issues with towing. Will it be the same as stock?

Pretty much.

With stock gears and bigger tires it will be a little more sluggish and have higher EGTs though.

So as far as towing goes, would i be fine with the blocks and traction bars. Also would the blocks and bars give a harsher ride compared to the leaf springs?

More or less stock ride as long as the bars you choose don't bind. And good shocks could actually improve the ride.
