A blower? The only way I think it would work would be if it was a centrifucal supercharger, and even with that you'd need the brackets and the computer tuned for the timing what-not. If you do have it done, it's gonna cost more than 75 dollars.

Lots of planning, lots of fabricating, lots of tuning. Lots of replanning, lots of refabricating, lots of retuning... It won't just bolt on and go. With a high amount of engineering and fabricating skill it's entirely possible. Without those things it's mostly improbable.

sounds like fun. youll have to change out alot of stuff though. IMO itd be pretty dumb to do all that work and not have the rest of the airflow package up to par. so youre doing H/C/I/E anyway.

#1. No way of knowing that without putting it on a dyno.

#2. No dyno tech in his/her right mind is going to test your engine at 30# of boost unless they have a death wish.

the engine would self disassemble and you would be mad at yourself for blowing up your 300. That is absolutely WAY too much boost to put on a stock engine. In answer to your question, however, i will say that on a MINT CONDITION 300, i would expect maybe +30 hp from 5-6 psi boost, PEAK.

Do you understand the concept of airflow? At all?

Everything depends on the how well you know how to tune the motor.
A totally stock motor will handle 10lbs. of boost just fine if you don't have any detonation issues. Even the cast pistons will hold up!
However as soon as you get greedy with the boost, or can't afford the premium fuel, or mess with the tune, the carnage will begin. (Quoted from the FSP Turbo/Supercharger Forum.)
25#+ is considered high boost on a gas engine...and that is an engine that has been built to handle boost. 30# or more may be considered normal on a diesel engine...not a gas engine.

Junk.

I've always heard that for every PSI you gain 7% of your base horsepower number. So if you are wanting to run something like 6 PSI (which would be a good number for a stock motor) you'd be gaining 42% more power.

If your motor has 150 stock (I've heard 150-168, doesn't really matter) your going to be gaining 63 more horsepower, which adds up to about 210 horsepower. If you add more mods (like P&P the heads, different cam, exhaust and so on) you can probably get up to about 300 horsepower with this setup, but it's definatly going to cost more than $75....JMO
