Well I am new on here, but today I put money down on a 2005 F350, super cab, DRW, FX4, long bed with 4:30 gears, lariet with leather interior.
Only had 8,500 miles on it and paid 27,000 for it. I hope this will be the last truck I buy for a very long time.
Now I need to start going through here and reading all I can.

I was going to start my own thread, but I guess i will just piggyback on this one.
I got a 2004 F-350 Crew Cab SRW 4x4 this weekend. It is a V10 with 3.73 gears and so far I love it. I bought the truck @ three hours away from home and I averaged 12.5 MPG on the way home(hand calc). This truck has gobs of torque and I am really looking forward totowing with it.
My wife even likesit, and said she would drive it to work because iI have a longer commute. Not going to happen !

Congrats Chad on the V10. I hooked up our 36ft 5th wheel to our's last weekend , towed like a dream.. .I was really impressed with its performance compaired with my previous 7.3L......

I have about 5000 miles on my '08 V10 and I don't miss my smelly, noisy, sluggish, heavy 7.3 one bit!!! This truck is nice and quiet, I was going to put an exhaust on it to get a bit of a rumble but I like the quiet so much it's going to remain stock. Prepare to become best friends with your local gas station though
