did i do good
well everybody kept saying that i needed to have it timed and ive been around from shop to shop and nobody has a timing meter for a idi. so today i was lurking around on ebay and i saw a timing meter on there, so i said (what the bleep) ill just go ahead and bid on it for the fun of it because somebody will out bid me anyway. well we came back from eating supper and low and behold i won the bib. it looks like it is in great shape and everything is there and dont think that i did to bad on it compared to some that ive seen sell on there. i ended up winning the bid for $250.00, so what do yall think of my purchase and does it look like everything is there?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=360028121555

well im going to give yall the update on the timing meter. i received it today and after fighting to get to the bottom of the box through all the bubble wrap and styro foam peanuts its in great shape. the two probes are brand new and never been screw into anything. all the pickups are in good shape and the wires are good, along with all the plugs. now i have to figure out how to use it lol. it reads in the book the 6.9 is timed at 20 and doesnt the engine have to be set at a certain rpm to set the timing?
