I want to thank all those who maintain, host, moderate, and contribute to this great site. I just did some maintenence stuff on my truck. I definately couldn't have done it without this site...
Knock on wood my truck has over 100K now and still running like a champ. To commemorate the 100K's mile, I changed the following items for the first time on the truck.
- New Plugs
- New Fuel Filter
- New Drive belt
- New O2 Sensors all the way around (Don't think I needed them though)
- New New Differential Fluid
- New PCV
- Coolant Flush
Like I said, I couldn't have done most of these things without this site. I called the dealer just for giggles to see how much all this would have cost me... When all is said and done, I saved roughly $1500 by doing this stuff myself. However, even the dealer said I shouldn't be changing the O2 sensors unless I'm getting a fault code. Oh well, it's already done. The truck should be good for another 100K. I do need to change the tranny fluid though and clean my throttle body...
