I found a fair deal on a used wicked wheel. It was only on the truck for a week and it was taken off because it was to loud. I will soon be going with a new exhaust and will probably whind up with some surge so I was thinking of going ahead and getting the wheel. Think its a good deal, what should I look for on it? It will be going on my '03 f250 with a 7.3.
It's a good deal.......as long as none of the fins were damaged in any way. If they look fubared by even a slight bit, they are and the wheel will need to be sent off to be re-balanced. No more good deal...
Sorry for the negative vibe -- hope it works out!!!
Jump on it if it looks good. I placed an order this week for one and received an email stating that the wheel is on backorder until the 7th of may. I guess i will need to call around some. Anyone know off hand who has them in stock?

this is the same wheel..it just has the diff. name..there is only 2 diff wheel for a stock turbo...the stock 9 fin...or the 10 fin..all 10 fins are the same..just a lot of diff. names..what they really are is an early 99 stock turbo wheel... http://www.xtremediesel.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=260
Ron I did not realized that until after looking at the listing. Extremediesel is the place that has the wicked wheel on backorder till May 7th. Just ordered one from Ron's Turbo Service.

The wheel is on its way(as of tomorrow). I was wondering if I should go ahead and install it or just wait until I install my new 4" exhaust? Would I see any benefit of doing it now or should I just wait and do all the work at one time?
you will need to do the turbo any ways.. for that you will need to un hook the down pipe.. fight with it now to put on new exhaust and make doing the wheel a little less frusrating later..or do it all at once..that is up to you..
if your exhaust is only like a week or two out, i'd wait simply based on you'll have to remove the DP clamp again for the exhaust. On the other hand, once you get it off once, it should be cake to get it off when the exhaust gets in.
