Yes, lots of the detailing spray products for tire shine, plastic shine etc don't react well with paint. Very important to clean them off multiple times prior to paint.
Nice job guys. Let me know how it holds up. My plastic is new enough that it isn't turning grey yet. I really like how the door handles and the cowl came out on both of your trucks. Definitely makes a differece. Might be something to consider doing in the future. Those door handles look really sharp on both trucks. I like how it blends on Storms truck. Of course I am biased since my truck is black. Lol. Keep up the good work guys!!
Is the wiper cowl hard to take off.. or do you just mask around it and spray it while it's on the truck?
Nope.. Pull the windshield wiper arms.. Than there is like 6 screws, un do those.. Then pop the hood and take the push pins out at the back of the hood by the cowl.. Comes off in 2 pieces

The cowl and everything else yes.. I know.. Cheap lesson LMAO
Looks good guys! I've been looking for a good solution to my faded trim everywhere and I think I'll try this. I'll more than likely put on a clear coat as well.
