Rough idle when pointing up hill

Would any one have any idea why my 85 F250, 6.9, 4 sp man, would run rough when it is pointing up hill. I am slowly going throught it and replacing most of the components, but it appears to have developed a miss while the front is pointing up hill. I have replaced the injector return lines, fuel filter, lift pump but still seem to be getting air in the system.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Troy

Check the lines between the lift pump and the tank/s you could have a small hole there letting air in. The up hill part is kinda odd in my opinion

Front uphill raises the amount of lift from the tanks to the lift pump.
So any air leaks between the tanks and lift pump would increase as well.

Is the stock water seperator still hooked up?
If it is, shove a bolt in the drain line.
The old water sepreators are famous for letting air into the fuel line.

Rough idle when pointing up hill

The stock water separater has been bypassed. The rough idle seems to be worse when it is parked and pointing up hill but still idling.

Thanks for you replies.

Will keep looking for air intrusion points.

Thanks,

Troy
