Would any one have any idea why my 85 F250, 6.9, 4 sp man, would run rough when it is pointing up hill. I am slowly going throught it and replacing most of the components, but it appears to have developed a miss while the front is pointing up hill. I have replaced the injector return lines, fuel filter, lift pump but still seem to be getting air in the system.
Front uphill raises the amount of lift from the tanks to the lift pump.
So any air leaks between the tanks and lift pump would increase as well.
Is the stock water seperator still hooked up?
If it is, shove a bolt in the drain line.
The old water sepreators are famous for letting air into the fuel line.
