I bought this F-350 from a fleet with just 62,000 miles one of the employees told me that they never checked or added sca, do ya think its done some damage? All seems prefectly fine so far,,,,,,,,,,,,but still I am gona add a coolant filter............
Got my truck with about 98000 on it and when I checked the SCA at about 112000 it was 0. Cant tell you if any damange has been done but it runs great and I did not find any floaters in the coolant and the cores in the radiator looked clean. From what I heard the IDI motors had more of a problem with pitting around the cylinders.
The PSD doesn't suffer as back from cavitation but it does happen. Mainly to the timing cover more than the cylinders. Just add the additive. there it nothing you can do about it now.

Checked your pics,,,,,,,,where did you get your coolant filter set up?
Yep got mine from Napa. Its universal and I needed other fittings for plumbing it up. But the base is decent. I think its $20-30 bucks. Not sure what the part number was but its in the back of their filter book.
