Help 351m

I'm rebuilding the 2150 carb on my 351m. I made the mistake of trying to remove the throttle plates and stripped a screw. I tried drilling thinking I could use a screw extractor, but only succeeded in making an offcenter hole.

I'm thinking of brazing the hole over and redrilling or going to a junk yard to find a replacement carb, but would like some ideas quick, please. I could use a liquid steel epoxy, states its drillable, but need to know what options are best. Any recommendations??

thanks people

its not running yet but will soon live to command the roads again!

Go to a junk yard and get the shaft that the throttle plates attach too. Just a thought. Rob

Rob, your suggestion is simple but exactly what I need to do!

I guess I was too focused on locating new parts, learning where to buy them, time at a premium. I've got the time now, and this will solve a question I have about this one piece that is activated by the accelerator pump but doesn't show up on the schematic...

I guess I look pretty dim, but treks to the yard are automatic--- haven't been in my daily thoughts since I was a teen!

Thanks again and Merry Christmas!
