Yes, it's wamed up may have been running for 30 minutes then the WTS comes on stalls the engine for a split second and it may not do it again the rest of the trip.
I bet that is something simple and inexspensive like the relay or the ignition switch. I would get the truck running and then dicconect the relay and then go for a good long ride and see if the wts come on , it should not even be possible but strange things do happen with electric,, anyway go to AZ and get a relay they are cheap under 20 and install it go for another ride and see if wts comes on, if it does try a new ignition switch (key) and again take a test ride.......... and see what happens
Its in plain view (with that psd cover off) on top of the engine alittle to the left, its looks just like a common starter relay 2 small wires and 2 larger wires, get the truck warmed up then shut it down and disconnect the heavy wire that is closest to the cab rap some electric tape around it and keep it away from the relay , then restart and test it out the wts should not be able to go on with the relay disconnected. do some searchs ther are plenty of pics here and even a part# for AZ ,I think its MR-109 for the relay.......... Sorry I can't cut and paste a pic , however all the info you need is here on this form, also find member Tjbegg he has a lot of pics and probly has some relay shots........

Jaaaaaaackman
The WTS lamp is controlled by the PCM.
Its completely independent of the GP system.
Sounds like you have a intermittent electrical failure. Could be ground or power signal.

I hear ya , but is not one side of the relay always hot? and if so would it also be possible that a bad reay could send power to the gps at tyhe wrong time? I would think so and also to start a simple starting point rather than more indepht ......... Just trying to help and the relay is cheap so why not try that first?
