I am interested in anyone's opinions on the Hancook tires that Ford puts on it's new trucks. I have them on my 2007 xl reg. cab 4x4 4.6 v8 and I dont know what to think of them yet with only 6,000 miles on the truck. The tires are AT Light truck tire.
I have a set of Hankook performance tires on my WRX in 215/45/17. I guess I have the low end model they are Ventus HR 2. They are fairly decent tires on wet and dry pavement but suck very much in the slightest amount of snow. The tread seems to be holding up well considering I drive extremely spirited and have had them for about 20K miles now. I can tell at this point in their life that they are starting to lose a little grip but I think a good spirited kind of alignment could cure some of that. They are also a little noisier than what I prefer but they are a directional tread what can you expect. Anyway, my overall review says I probably will buy a better tire next time.
--- The prices for many car parts are outrageous. Why can’t they have more chop shops online?
