What offset wheel?
I posted this in the excursion forum and did not seem to get an answer, maybe someone here can help me. I have a 2002 Excursion 4x4 7.3PSD and am planning to put a 6" Fabtech lift. I have decided on 315/75-16 Nitto tires(which according to their website are 12.32" wide and 34.49" tall), but I want to know what offset and backspacing I will need the new rims to be in order to keep them from rubbing? They recomend a 8-10" rim for these tires. Any links or help would be great. Thanks.

Generally speaking on any Ford, anything more then 4" bs and the tire will hit using a 12.50 wide tire. Sticking to 3.5 inches bs should clear the tire. On an Excursion, you probably want to go with a 10" rim with the 3 5/8 bs. This means the tire/rim combo will intrude backwards roughly 4 3/4 inches from the mounting surface.
