Just remove the four bolts going into the timing cover and maybe two-three of the ones behind these, then loosen the rest to let the pan hang down a bit.Once you get the timing cover back on, pull the pan back up in place along with the pan bolts.

if the eccentric moved than it's loose... I would take it apart and remove it or replace it, just don't leave it in there... what happens when the one bolt holding the cam gear on fall out???
