Cheater Throttle Cable?
I was looking at an ebay auction and the truck has a np435 and the guy says "I got a cheater throttle cable installed on the shifter so when your out rockcrawling something steep you can work the gas with your finger and the clutch and brake with your feet.... this comes in very handy and beats trying to use 2 feet on three pedels." I was wondering if anyone has done this and how could it be done. This idea sounds really good for the new truck that i am getting the also has a stick.

Yeah alot of dump trucks, OTR and short haul trucks use a PTO throttle. Like Mi1lion said it is basically a choke cable, but you would need to figure out a way for the cable to not interfere while you use the pedal.

You can get a throttle cable or PTO cable with a turn and lock feature at any truck parts house. It does come in handy on the trail for driving as well as raising the RPM's for winching, charging or building air.
