Upper Door Hinges...

Quick question. I have had this truck apart for so long...and I had 3 doors and all the hinges apart picking through the least worn out parts for rebuilding. I know the lower hinges are universal can be used on either side, but is there just one upper hinge that is used on both sides? I went to put my doors back on today and noticed the 2 upper hinges were identical. All of the holes are in the same place and they can be flipped so I went ahead and flipped the one on the drivers side. On one side the upper hinge door "rollers", or opening stops are on the top side of the hinge, and on the other they are on the bottom. The door works fine, but I just couldn't remember it being that way?

Yep, that's the way they are and not just on Fords neither.

You asking that is a bad sign tho. ;)
You haven't been oiling your hinges have you? ;)

I have a squirt can with STP in it.
(the one thing I've found the dangged stuff good for)

Thanks Alvin...actually they are in great shape now. I thought they were reversible, "the same" I just couldn't remember one side being upside down. I replaced the hinge pins and the rollers work fine. They are smooth as glass. It's been two and half years with doors off as I started rebuilding this truck and had to put on hold because I sold my house and had to build a new house first! I am slowly beginning to make progress again.
