water pump???

I have noticed a leak the past 2 days. Upon inspection it appears to be aat or under the water pump. I only lets off when off and parked. Any ideas if it is the pump? And any where to find out details on replacement? (I would like to see if this is above me or not)

If its leaking out the weephole on the bottom of the pump then its time for a new water pump.

It sounds like the weep hole is starting to leak, which is a sign of a failing water pump from my understanding. I just recently changed my water pump due to the bearings were going out. It wasn't that difficult other than getting the fan off the pump. Do a search for water pump replacement, there was a real good write-up on here. If I find it I'll post back here. If you have some basic tools, metric and standard, you should be able to accomplish this task. I purchased my pump, thermostat, therm. housing, and the upper radiator hose that goes around the belt instead of the one that goes through the belt at NAPA. Several people will recommend the billet housing for the thermostat that one of the vendors on here can supply. I agree that it would be better, I just didn't have the time to wait on it.
