stacks

i like the looks of stacks but not sure on putting them for a gas truck i know they do on diesels. had anyone put 3" stacks or so on there gas truck. really would like to. i have a 97 F-250HD

Besides being god-awful loud, I think it would be able to be done. Just have to make sure the Catalytic converter stays on.

How do you think 3" stacks will look on a F-250? I don't think I would do this, will look wempy to me. Put 3" inside 6" then maybe.

I agree with Rick, a 3" pipe would just look too small. I have seen them done on a few mudding trucks so that they can ford deep water..

I had a little time just before leaving work and was reading the board. I read this post. Then when I left work I got behide this older 4x4 toyota that had one 3" chrome miter cut stack right behide the drivers side and this truck was a 4 banger. I know he had stack envy after I went past him with my 5" dual stacks HAHAHA...................

I don't think I would put stacks on anything but a diesel but that is just my opinion.
