Hmmm. No codes...stutters at cruise but not under load.... I presume that it has an intank electric pump with a screen. The could be some debris in or on the pickup that is causing a fluctuation in fuel delivery.
I was thinking the same thing cause it some time comes and gose when low on gas or I get gas
Were you able to find a Schraeder valve and check the fuel pressure?
No have not, but have looked.
ON the way to work yesterday it ran great. other than dying at stop lights. so I got mad 105mph on highway in 4th no more dying.
changed the TPS again and tested the egr valve
my taxes where to be back by now. so just have to wate be fore I buy more parts
ooops sorry for the above , didnt see there was a 2nd page. I am going to throw this one out there and you might think I am crazy but here it goes.... Have you checked the motor mounts? I had one of these that did something similar and found that a motor mount was bad and putting the engine, trans and axle shafts in a bind causing a shutter feeling. I know it sounds like a reach but worth a shot!

That is some thing we are know looking in to.
I just got home from buying the egr valve. will post later
Just another thought, if the motor mounts are OK then could be a CV Joint problem, The CV will start wearing in one spot thus allowing the joint to become unbalanced when riding in that spot. The problem will go away when the joint flex (under load) and then come back when cruising. I cant see your problem being a engine performance problem but it will be a bear to figure out. More than likely will entale some trial and error.

LEFTY you bring up some good points THat i have thought about. because some thing like that would not have been changed with the eng swap. the cv axles do have som play up and down, left to right the problem seams less now with the new ball jount
changed the egr vavle today drove 100 miles since change, no studders, but even before the chance it would not studder for days so we wait and see!
When you changed the motor out did you drop the cradle out of the car? If so then you might want to check the cradle position, if the cradle position is off (such as not square with the car ) then the same thing could possibly happen. Hope this is helping and not confusing you.
