Well, I got the engine in except I can't hook up the exhaust until I get the pipes spread from 2" to 2.5", but when I start it, it dies as soon as you let go of the key? Any suggestions?
Well, I figured it out. I had done some wire splicing, and gotten two wires mixed up. They were both red and one had a blue strip and one was green. It was really hard to distinguish between them. Thanks for all the help!!
The wires going to the distributer. I needed to fix them, and I got the red/blue and red/green backwards. When the key was in start, it was getting power to the coil, but when it went to run, it all disappeared.
It just stops immediately when you let go of the key.
Bad ignition switch, had one one a Tempo that the switch seperated, it would run if you turned it back a little, but held on to it, as soon as you let go, it would die.
