I knew that, but my point being (besides the top of my head) was that you need some other device besides just the 4 link bars to hold the vehicle up, unlike a leaf spring that serves as both a way to hold the vehicles ride height, and locates the rear axle at the same time. Shocks on leaf suspensions are only there to abshorb/dampen rough terrain.

if you plan on making a truck street legal your only 4 LINK option (you could go 3 link, but thats a diff topic) is the parallel 4 link w/ panhard b/c you have to run a draglink..... the other 2 will have hellacious bumpsteer if used with a draglink, enough that you will want to redo it with a different design....
single triangluated is a great combo for your avg. rig, will give a great ride, and has the lateral control without the panhard.....this is what most rigs use, double triangulated 4 links, i dont know a whole lot about, from what i understand, have excellent flex characteristics and has alot more room for bigger tires w/ larger steering angles b/c of the clearance it makes with the double triangulation......i could go into it more.....but i dont feel like it.....if your really want to know, go to pirate and get ta readin.....

Go to powerblocktv web site and then go to extreme 4x4, link and look for the link suspension calculator. It will help when you gather all the numbers such as center of gravity etc.

Never really counted

I do know I am the second biggest ho on the site though

I meant to ask - quad, what form of stone-age CAD are you operating there?
It looks spookily like some 1920's version of AutoCAD... and it is sending shivers up my spine. Don't you guys get Catia?
