What about using a 6.0 fan clutch. I believe they are electric.

6.0 does not fit the 7.3 pump.
The 6.0 works like a horton clutch.

Yeah, I knew they were different. But you can control the horton clutch. I wonder if it would work on the 7.3?

You may want to check the horton website. Look in the online catalog for fan drives for the international T444E . I beleive they have an electromagnetic fan drive option that may fit our trucks.

I've looked at the horton website a cougpld of times. A member mentioned that some time back. Doesn't appear to be much information on it as to how well it performs. It gives you part numbers and such, but I want to know how it really works. I want to be able to control my fan from the cab.

According to that chart a 48" fan would solve the worries.
