difficult shifting

Cool difficult shifting
My 4x4 shifting lever on the floor is very difficult to move. Is there some way to lubricate it to make it move easier?

First lube the linkage underneath.

When you're trying to shift it, put it in neutral and roll ever so slightly while shifting. It shifts much easier this way.
