Rebuild questions
Hello everyone,
I'm thinking of rebuilding my 400M, its in a 79' f-250 2wd, The engine is totally stock right now and it still runs ok. But I would feel better on road trips if it was rebuilt. What I'm looking for is some mild performance parts for it, I drive this daily and haul a 8 1/2 foot camper in the summers, so I dont want to go too crazy(but I do love POWER!!
). I don't have a huge amount of money to spend on it but I was thinking about $2000cdn.
any ideas as far as a cam, maybe 4barrel carb and intake?,
I have a good mechanical knowledge, but have not rebuilt and engine before so any help would be greatly appreciated,
